Which nobody is but I think someone`s mentioned it recently....... anyway, brilliant show, one of my all time faves. Excellent all the way through----------but;
Even though I love the very thought, the very concept, I cannot sit down, close my eyes and listen to that Playin` all the way through. I mean I can get up, do something (eg mess about on this laptop or view the forum or water the plants or whatever), and keep 'listening', but I can`t listen to it, to the exclusion of all else, for the whole 45. It messes with my head too much.
I`m glad it does (that`s the point isn`t it), but I think this'll be one of those shows which I will never listen to the whole way through - in one hit.

Shame

Both for the Playin' and for the Eyes, that's near the top of my wish-list to end up on a Road Trips release. The Playin' is what Bitches Brew wishes it were.

Bold, yes, but true IMO. I listened to a couple of sides of BB one time after listening to 5-21-74, and my feeling is that there's not as much concentrated music-making in BB. Too much of BB is Miles + texture.
